At LAWBOSS — Uvalle Law Firm, PLLC, the firm's work is guided by the vision and leadership of its founder, attorney Michael Uvalle. After graduating from law school, Michael was driven by a clear purpose: to find a better way to help everyday people whose lives had been disrupted by unexpected injuries. He viewed the law not simply as a profession, but as a means to advocate for individuals navigating difficult circumstances.

Before becoming an attorney, Michael worked for several of the largest insurance companies in Texas. During that time he gained firsthand insight into how personal injury claims are evaluated and defended, and how insurers approach risk, liability, and settlement decisions. That experience gave him a practical understanding of the strategies carriers use when responding to injury claims.

Motivated to use that knowledge on behalf of injured individuals, Michael founded LAWBOSS — Uvalle Law Firm, PLLC in 2010. The firm was built on a straightforward mission: work diligently, treat clients with respect, and pursue fair outcomes under the law.

Jonathan Harris serves as the Managing Attorney of Litigation and brings decades of experience to the firm's trial practice. Based in Houston, Texas, Jonathan has been practicing law since 1998 and is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by a limited percentage of Texas attorneys.

His career includes representing clients in personal injury and family law, as well as more than a decade as a senior trial attorney for a major automobile insurance company. His time on the defense side gave him a detailed understanding of how carriers evaluate claims, develop litigation strategies, and assess risk at trial.

In 2017, Jonathan joined the firm to apply his litigation experience on behalf of injured individuals rather than corporations. His leadership and courtroom experience play a key role in the firm's litigation strategy.

Ian Nelsen is a Partner Attorney and pre-litigation attorney based in Houston, Texas. He brings a strong academic foundation and a disciplined, results-focused approach to his personal injury practice. Ian earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce, completed a master's degree at Baylor University, and graduated third in his class from South Texas College of Law.

He is a certified mediator and an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. His training and experience allow him to evaluate claims carefully and advocate effectively for clients throughout the pre-litigation process. Since joining the firm, Ian has helped clients recover significant settlements in personal injury matters.

Ian approaches his work with a philosophy centered on diligence, transparency, and client trust. He understands the uncertainty that follows an accident and is committed to keeping clients informed throughout the legal process.

Howard Hill is a litigation attorney based in Houston, Texas, with nearly three decades of legal experience. Since beginning his practice in 1998, he has devoted more than 23 years to trial work, representing clients in complex civil matters.

Howard spent over 20 years with two of the nation's largest auto and commercial insurance carriers, where he gained extensive experience evaluating claims, managing litigation, and developing defense strategies. That background gives him a detailed understanding of how insurers assess risk, evaluate exposure, and approach settlement decisions.

He draws on that experience to provide strategic, informed representation, using his knowledge of insurance company practices to advocate for his clients' interests and pursue resolutions based on the facts and applicable law.

Rolando Reyna Jr. is a pre-litigation attorney based in Dallas, Texas. He brings a background in advocacy and marketing to his personal injury practice. Rolando earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Texas State University and completed his legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law.

During law school, Rolando demonstrated strong courtroom and appellate skills. He served as Appellate Advocacy Chair on the Board of Advocates, earned recognition in multiple moot court competitions, and received Best Oralist honors at the Notre Dame National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom. His academic achievements led to induction into The Order of Barristers and the State Bar of Texas Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy.

Throughout his career at the firm, Rolando has helped clients recover compensation in personal injury matters, providing clear guidance and assertive representation.

Joseph Massey is a Plaintiff Attorney who represents injured clients throughout the pre-litigation process. Based in Dallas, Texas, Joseph combines legal training with prior experience working as a workers' compensation adjuster and manager.

Before representing injured individuals, Joseph worked in insurance defense roles, giving him insight into how insurance companies review and manage claims. He now applies that knowledge to build thorough cases designed to pursue fair compensation under the law.

Joseph holds a Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law and degrees in psychology and human resources. He is committed to helping clients navigate the legal system with clarity and confidence.

Robert Moss is a personal injury attorney who represents clients in both pre-litigation and litigation matters. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

During law school, Robert distinguished himself through moot court competition, advancing to the semi-finals. Licensed to practice in both Maryland and Texas, he has represented personal injury clients in Texas since 2019.
